Legband from TSC questions

Tsc/tractor supply sells poultry leg bands in size s,m,l. What size would white leghorns be? Does it matter if my leghorns are 8 weeks old....will I need to buy a larger size when they are adults?

I bought large because I have some larger breeds of birds but they work fine on my Leghorns too.

Just go with zipties.
Can be sized appropriately as birds grow.
Yes, you have to keep an eye on them, like with any leg band, and change them out as the bird grows.
