My Breeder knows I really wanted an olive Egger (which he doesn’t typically breed) so when he told me that he thinks his Golden Cuckoo Marans rooster might have jumped the fence into his Cream Legbar pen, I jumped at the chance to get the only pullet that showed signs of the match. She has thick, feathered feet, a heavy body, and a small head with a medium crest. Sorry about the bad pictures, she’s fast and skittish. I just want to know if you guys think she could really be a CLB/GCM cross? I don’t mind if she is just a cream Legbar, because I love their eggs and don’t currently have one, but I would LOVE an olive Egger...

Thanks for your input! I sure hope she ends up giving me some sort of “olive” egg. I’m not picky about the depth of it yet as I only have a few chickens and would love if they all laid different colors! So far I have a buff Orpington, a blue copper Marans, a Cuckoo Marans, a Swedish Isbar, an Austra White, my weird mixed girl that I was asking about, and a golden cuckoo Marans (the husband loves Marans eggs so he doesn’t get upset if I bring another Marans home!)
