Sundarie sneered. "You might be able to drain energy, but with my healing abilities I can replenish it!' She roared and leapt at the little fox, her fangs gleaming. As she grabbed for the fox's neck.

Maple snarled with a smirk as she felt her fangs dig into her neck. Blood dripped down like ribbons. "And?... You may not want to do that... because that gives me an endless supply of energy. So I can do things... like this!" She reached up with her hind legs and kicked Sundarie right in her throat, her extra energy making her stronger. Then, using her small size to her advantage, she wriggled out of her grasp, wincing as Sundarie's fangs ripped open flesh down her neck and to her shoulders. But, it was better than death.

Haylei grunted a bit as she felt the air get knocked out of her. She growled, then smirked a bit as she saw something behind Northwind.

Northwind didn't notice Haylei's expression. He tucked his wings twisting back out of her reach.

Isis saw a blur behind Northwind. She screamed. "Look Out!" As she raced towards him

Sundarie gasped, her throat tight and burning with each breath. She jumped backwards, her lips curled, she closed her eyes, focusing her energy on her throat, a second later the pain was dulled, she roared and charged at Maple.
 
The grass parted as the serpent saw what was happening. Her eyes darkened and she slithered back.
