Legend of Rainea: Coming Storm

Sundarie dashed across the jagged rocks on the mountains over looking the valley forest. She racked the stones with her claws as she darted between craggy boulders. Loose rock and sediment toppled down the mountain side with each step of her heavy paws. She leapt, clearing a small crevice and her long fangs sank into the back of a mountain ggoat, her claws made a horrible noise as they raked down a rock, fighting to keep her balance. She finally stopped her crashing descent on a small ledge. She had managed to keep hold of the goat, and drug it back to her cave.

Otulissa took flight, her charcoal wings fluttering softly in the wind.

Maple strayed away from the St. Aegolius Canyons, wandering through the valley for a quick meal. Haylei had decided to follow her; the lake was always rich in fish.

Northwind soared along the thermals over the lake, his legs pumping like he was running. He saw Isis on the far bank, deciding to impress her he dropped quickly, racing towards the water, he tucked his wings tight, and splashed into the dark depths, a minute later his heavy wings beat hard breaking the surface with choas, in his mouth he held a huge catfish. He beat his wings heavily gaining speed, as he paddled for the shore.

Isis stood on the far bank, she had been startled by his crashing entry into the lake and worried when he didn't resurface quickly. But now she smiled, laughing at his antics. She yelled, her voice echoing through the woods. "Can't you swim any faster?"

Shadow galloped through the dark forest, he enjoyed it here, and if he could he would never leave the cool darkness of the trees. The forebodingness of this forest gave him peace. He stopped to nibble on wilting blades of grass.

Haylei overheard them, eyeing them through the trees. She smirked scornfully. "Rainea scum," she muttered under her breath.

Northwind splashed through the shallow water, and laid the hulking catfish on the bank. Isis smiled, "Thank you."
North wind shook out his coat, shivering as a gust of wind bit down to his fur. He suddenly stiffened, he smelled an ally of Shadow wolf, he turned snarling, staring into the forest.

"Funny seeing you here." Haylei nearly jumped out of her skin as she heard Daruk's voice behind her. Her fur bristled, then fell again. She exhaled.

"Daruk, I swear, if you don't knock it off..." she growled. Daruk suppressed a laugh; he was notorious for doing that. He loved it.

"So, whatcha doing?" he inquired, preening his chest feathers.

"Watching some idiots," she said as she turned back. She noticed one of them looking awfully close to where she was. She sniffed, smirking as she continued eating some berries from a bush. She wasn't concerned; she wasn't in a fighting mood, but could still clean them up real fast if they provoked a fight.

Isis now stood behind Northwind, she watch as he extended his powerful wings, and inhaled.
a powerful wind gusted through the forest towards them. Northwind snarled, now positive that there were Smoke Wolf followers near. "Come out you cowards!'' he beat his wings and exhaled and a wind ripped across the ground toawrds the smoke wolf followers.

Haylei chuckled softly, barely affected from her sheer strength. Daruk flickered from existence. "Wow, I didn't even get to say hello," she sneered as she left the bushes. Her large form was intimidating, to say the least. "You got a problem? I'm not in a fighting mood, but I'll clean your hide if you ask for it politely. Or even rudely, since that seems to be your way of doing things."
