Sylvia almost managed to dodge his strike. She flew backwards with an angry scream. Her wing slammed into the horse's (he's a unicorn, right?) hooves and crumpled against her side. She unfurled it again with a croak and flew higher.

He screamed and tried to stab her with his posionis horn

Sylvia fluttered upwards with another startled scream. Not only was the bird out of practice, she'd never been a good fighter anyway. Her head and wings already ached.

Hasis snapped at Ferus with his beak , as he swooped up to catch up.

Aelil watched what was happening nearby. She backed up, frightened by the sight of a fight breakinbg out.

Elder swooped after Hasis as Ferus dodged and turned tail and fled his shoulder bleeding.

Sylvia flew toward Elder, talons first, with an angry scream. (Sylvia doesn't exactly know the definition of "stealth")

A blue blur shot down from the sky, diving right for Sylvia with great speed.

Focused on Elder, Sylvia slammed into him hard when the creature or object collided with her. She made a small "eep" sound and struggled to keep her wings moving as black spots invaded her vision.
