Hi, sorry I missed your post. We have beautiful White Leghorns and I consider them SQuality, but I've never taken them to a show. Please look at our posting in this section for more photos. We full time farm and we're in the height of kidding season, picking, planting, so I'm rarely on the net.

We have leghorns in white and red

and soon some other colors Silver leghorns in the hatcher right now

dth Friday Thinking about adding some browns just because my reds are mistaken for browns all the time since many don't realize they come in red(and don't look like a brown)
We don't show any of our birds..you take your best birds to possibly expose them to something deadly.

But we have been asked by our fair to bring ours this week..it's a huge fair 9 days long and that's too long to cage them around others.
If it weren't for our leghorns and minorca's we would have no eggs right now...my brown egg layers are on a heat strike

Yes, ours are pure whites and they continue to lay constantly....They are little egg machines and so docile and thrifty on their feed. I also love the big combed daddy!!!

We just hatched out our second generation of them....Wish you were closer as we will be selling a flock in about one month - they are only 1 year and 6 months old but it's time for rotation again.

I have a female line of bantam White Leghorns. Im trying to contact the original breeder to try to get a SQ male.

Yes all of ours are standard...No I don't show ours.We have been asked that several times but every time you take them to a show your taking your best birds and subjecting them to who knows what.If I lost my reds to an illness I would have a hard time finding more.
My silvers are taking their own sweet time coming out today..these are not some of mine but eggs I bought to add to my gene pool-not happy they sent my pullet eggs as I won't breed until they are laying well and to full size eggs but I'm hoping.
I'm adding Mille Fleur and Exchequer soon and want to work on some mottled-my favorites.I love the colors.
My Minorca's are black.I have Buff but quite honestly the quality isn't there in what I have been able to find and have sold all but my one reject..Still trying and will keep trying until I get a few respectable ones. Would love to get some White ones as well.
