Leghorn not laying

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas why one of my leghorns will not lay? I have a mixed flock that free ranges and I thought that perhaps she was nesting in the woods and laying there. I kept the two leghorns cooped for a few days just to see if she would lay in the nesting box in the coop but she did not. They are not very old---- 1-2 years old.

She may be molting or just taking a break from laying - most hens do. They rest up and then start another laying cycle.
