Hello my fellow BYCers! This is ‘Dolly’ my 7-8ish week old Leghorn.

I’m pretty sure it’s a pullet but lately it’s been running and kicking at the fence when it sees my waking up to the run and will wait until my back is turned away when leaving the run and will run at me and try to kick me! Lol!
It’s also a lot more skiddish than the other ones, which I know is a commo Leghorm trait. But do these actions maybe suggest shes acrually a HE or is SHE just being a jerk chicken or normal behavior? Here’s some pics. Thanks!

Well I after I took these pics this morning I managed to pick her up and hold her and she sat perched in my hand for about a minute and I talked to her in a call voice while gently petting her and she seemed to chill out and when I left the run after that she didn’t try to get at me! So maybe she just needed some reassurance that I wasn’t gonna eat her! Lol

Hmm.. oddly enough she’s the smallest one out of the six I have. Is there a way to let her know Im the boss? Lol
Does ANY women WANT you to think you're the boss???? ;) :gig
Just keep reassuring her. You need to be at the top. She will figure it out. But, keep an eye on her. Try to "catch" her before she charges. Give her a "peck".

... There are a BUNCH of aggressive pullets on here today! WOW... must be in the water!
