Leghorn

View attachment 1909638 Yes. She started laying 2 weeks ago. Im still not sure what breed she is though... she looks like a splash Cochin without feathered feet. When she was younger I thought her legs where going to be slate also..... now they are yellow... she is my loudest bird though when we call her name she starts yelling like a chimp until she finds us, I laugh everytime. She puffs her neck like a lion when it’s time to put her up and she isn’t happy about it also.
What color are the eggs? She's a lavander something lol

They are brown with dark brown spots

Can you as your TSC what hatchery their chicks come from. If we knew what hatchery that would help narrow down what breed she is.

This may sound crazy but what would you think about this being a splash Plymouth Rock? That's honestly the closest thing it looks like to me and the eggs seem on point for that as well albeit a bit darker than I'd expect.

It'd be the first one I've ever seen but not impossible.

What if it's some kind of mutt....maybe an Easter egger single comb that lays brown eggs??? Idk lol

The workers at TSC told me “different hatcheries” so that wasn’t very informative.... but I think you may be right.... the closest thing I can find is a Blue Plymouth Rock or Splash Plymouth Rock... definitely not the first “leghorn” I bought there that didn’t turn out to be a “leghorn”. I wish I knew for sure though I would like to have another like her.
