I currently have 6 leggies and 2 RIR's in one brooder, all around 2-3 weeks. They are doing well, eating, drinking, and all that good stuff. I have never had leghorns before, but wanted white eggs so here we are. These little monsters are messier then ducks!
Anyhow, they are a bit wild. I have noticed that sometimes they get liquid poops..and I do mean liquid. Could it be becasue of their activity level/nerves? I saw one take a poop, and it started out normal and then turned to liquid, but this was after I had been handling them to take them out for some fresh air. Also, I haven't seen the two RIR with them have liquid poop..it seems like it is only the leghorns, but they did come from a different place. After they had been outside and each pooped one(liquid) the poop for the rest of time outside was normal again. No one has pasty butt and they are all growing normal. I started them on probios today. Any other suggestions?
