Leghorns or Orpington

So we were told we had 3 EE (which we do) and 3 white Leghorns, but at 3 weeks old the leghorns are looking more like pictures I’ve seen of Orpingtons. They were next to a bin that was labled Orpingtons, but was empty. I’ve added pictures of the day we brought them home, and last week.

Well they are clearly not leghorns. I have a hard time seeing the leg color. If they are pink, they are indeed buff orps, but if they are yellow then they are another breed.

Thank you. All three have pink legs. The EEs were all chipmunk chicks. So we’re pretty sure about them.

Thank you. She’s my son’s favorite, so we don’t mind what breed. He just wanted to know what she would look like grown.

I used to raise Buff Orpingtons but still raise Leghorns. I think they may be Orpington's. Here are some White Leghorn chicks I recently hatched. Good luck with your chicks...

Thank you! We’re brand new to chickens So there’s a learning curve. Now I’m reading all the stories About asking for pallets and getting some cockerels. I’m hoping we have all pullets, as only hens are allowed in my area And my kids are in love with them all.
