My daughter is looking for leghorns for a 4-h egg production project. She would prefer light brown but is open to any color. They need to be old enough to be laying by July

Hoovers Hatchery sells chicks and pullets but you have to buy a minimum of 15

Try posting in your state thread and see if anyone there can help you access some local birds.

My Pet Chicken will sell as few as 3 chicks.
