Does anyone know anything about the color Lemon Blue. I have a Lemon Blue Cochin rooster and a Lemon/gray cochin hen. In about 22 chicks from eggs hatched in the incubabtor from this pair I have gotten only one Lemon Blue and only one lemon gray. the other chicks are a mutiltude of colors, but beautiful never the less. I have alot of blue, a couple of blacks, and even some buffs in the others chicks and some colors in between! I think the Lemon Blue and the Lemon gray are both pullets! Should I breed them back with their parent rooster, or use one of the blues that are coming along? Any pointers on what to do next? Thanks!
