Lemon Blue Silkie Rooster?

Hey there!

One again back from a break to ask if this silkie rooster looks even a little bit close to Lemon Blue? I'm thinking about crossing Lemon Blue cochins with him to possibly make a Lemon Blue silkie. His mom was a buff, while his father was a black crossed blue(?).

He hatched out looking very gray, and has lightened up over time. The gold got more prominent on him over time as well, and I think he's very pretty!

Without knowing anything about what you did, I'd say that was a beautiful partridge silkie mix.

Did you mean his father was a black split-blue silkie maybe?
