Lemon blues and BB reds

Are the two the same color, just one with blue and one black? Thank you!
They are two different color patterns, not just a blue/black difference.

The Duckwing color pattern is found in Black Breasted Red, and Blue Breasted Red (has the blue gene) and Red Pyle (has dominant white) and Silver Duckwing (has the silver instead of gold.)

The Birchen color pattern is found in Birchen (silver gene) and Blue Birchen (silver gene and blue gene) and Brown Red (gold gene) and Lemon Blue (gold gene and blue gene).

I'm probably forgetting a few in each group, but the basic idea is that Duckwing and Birchen are two different patterns (ways to arrange the colors on the chicken.) Each one can be modified by turning gold darker or lighter (red or yellow), or changing it to silver. Each can also be modified by turning black to blue or to white. The black could be turned to chocolate, or the lavender gene could turn black & gold to gray & cream.

My bad, I had meant lemon blues and brown reds. I have been thinking about BB reds all day though so that's why I accidently put BB red instead of brown red.

Oops, yes that happens sometimes!

So brown red and lemon blue are the same just with a blue/black difference then?
Yes, that should be basically correct.

If the shade of red/gold/lemon is different, I do not know what genes are involved in causing that difference.
