Thought I'd share some of my lemon/buff mottled orpington project for folks who like the new color varieties being developed. They're a work in progress, but oh, so cute. Enjoy!

Thanks Cyn! I fell in the love with the mottling on the blacks and thought why not work on buff mottled too. The buffs are my favorite, so buff mottled is all the better to have fun with.

Thanks all! These babies are so friendly. I have one little cockerel who jumps on my leg as soon as I squat down to talk to them and most of the group comes running up to me to say hello as soon as I step in the pen.

Katy, I will post pics of the jubilee progress once they grow up more and get their mature feathers in. I don't like to post them this young, as the color changes so much. I do believe I see some that will show pretty nice color this year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh they will be eye candy! The buff mottled will be so pretty. I've wished to see that in the cochins as well, mottled birds are so attractive
