She's a majestic Buff Orp in my eyes.
I see no barring.

This is She'ra, sold to me as a Lemon Cuckoo Orpington chick. She's around 18 weeks now and I was just wondering if she is truly a LCView attachment 2333261View attachment 2333259View attachment 2333260 or buff. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think its a Buff Orpington because the Lemon Cuckoo has a different body shape and tail, she's very pretty

Yep. Your pullet chicks will come out the same whether she is or isn't.

I suspect daddy was single barred. I only bought 4 and all the others showed obvious barring before they died at 2 weeks.

only if dad is double barred. I bought him as an egg and his brother is red, so I suspect he is single barred. Well having said that ,now I know he is single barred. Duh! So half the pullets will be barred and half won 't.

Sounds correct about that. I just meant from the hens side it wouldn't matter if she was barred or not since with the pullet chicks its only decided by their father.
