I have a question regarding lemon cuckoo orpingtons.... I have two roos and one hen. If I would place a buff orpington hen with one of the roos, would the chicks be lemon cuckoo or buff...

if you use lemon cukoo male over a buff hen..ALL of the chicks will be lemon cuckoo......But the males will have only one copy of the barring gene and if mated to buff hens 50% of his chicks will be buff and 50% will be lemon cuckoo. and if this male is cross to lemon cuckoo hens 50% of all pullets will be buff and 50% will be lemon cuckoo
