I have a group of 7 lemon Pyle brahmas that we’re hatched January 24. I’m pretty sure I know the gender on all but this one. Can anyone tell and if so can you explain how you know. The other ones are either bigger with redder combs and wattles or slightly smaller with shorter tails and slightly lighter combs but not by much.

Pullet

Here’s a couple of mine besides the obvious feather and coloring differences, see how the cockerel closest to camera has larger redder comb and wattles. The Brahma males are usually noticeably larger and walk more upright with bigger feet. Those are some easy things to look for when your learning.

No problem, here’s another picture when they were young, the pullets have the partridge pattern all over, the cockerel (back right) will have some partridge feathers but his breast is mostly solid colored. Just another thing I thought of you can look for.

Thanks. They are a new breed for me and I’m so excited.
