Here's my first (and most important) lesson learned:


1) Life goes on. Don't look back. Treasure the days and friends and family that you have right now.
And when they pass on count your blessings and keep going.
 
Be kind to those you live with, you might need to snuggle up to them tonight to stay warm. And if you chased and pecked at them all day, that's not going to happen chicka!
 
That poop can end up any where and things always seem better with a chicken on your shoulder.
 
Some "roos" need to be sent to freezer camp.

Those that cackle loudest didn't necessarily lay the egg.
