Lessons learned the hard way....color matters!!

I started them on a bag of turkey starter which is about 30% protein. That lasted about 2 weeks.

They were sure glad to get their feed this morning.

My roosters dress out at 7-8 lbs in 8 weeks. (hens run 5-6 lbs) I did have one batch this last year that took 10 weeks, but this isolated case I believe had to do with the quality of the birds I recieved.
