Tha lady with a sportsman that usually hatches my "important eggs" is full and won't have room for a couple of weeks...

and I would hat to blow a bundle, have these eggs shipped, then mangle half of them in a still air hovabator... and I only have two broodies sitting right now, one is only a week into incubating some Serama eggs...

I have a Trio of Split Black Lav Orp project birds from Lester, beautiful birds. I had a hatch from Lucas's eggs, 100% hatch. whoever wins these will not be sorry.

I had an awesome hatch from the very same eggs, and 80% of them are lavender. Definitely worth the money in my book! Of course, I have a split lav quad from Jody as well to go with them...

jody i am sure you have worked very hard on this, so tell us how proud are you right now?

I am amazed at the interest in these birds. They are absolutely beautiful and yes, I am biased. lol I love them and I truly enjoy working with them. With 104 lavenders growing out and more hatches coming, this will certainly help with the feed bill and the astronomical amount of pine shavings I am going through weekly to keep those brooders and nurseries clean. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of this.

I can only hope others will enjoy them as much as I do.

Jody I think the Lavender colored Orps will be just as popular as BBS when they are more readily available.However it's just like anything else that's new, everyone wants.The simple law of supply and demand.I'm a Parts manager at a Chevrolet dealer and I see what happens when a new model comes out and people will pay over sticker price just to be the first to have one.The Lavender Orps are great and hopefully before long they will be in the 'middle class" price range. lolI had a couple of Self Blue Bantams that I actually sold last night and their color is just magnificent and can hardly imagine what a huge big Orp realy looks like in that color.Congrats and thanks for working to make these available to us here in the good ole USA.
