Ok, so I have some orpington eggs in my incubator. And im trying to get the colors straight. (there are blacks, lavenders, blues, and splashes in the bator) and here is my question. . . . .

BlueXblue = 25% blacks, 25% splashes, and 50% blacks?

BlueXblack = 50% blue 50% black?

BlueXsplash = 50% blue 50% splash?

SplashXsplash = 100% splash?

BlackXblack = 100% black?

BlackXsplash = 100% blue?

LavenderXlavender = 100% lavender?

LavenderXblack = ??????

LavenderXsplash = ??????

LavenderXblue = ??????

Please let me know what I got wrong and right. And help me answer the other questions! Thank you!

for standard blue, Blue and blue make 25%black, 50% blue, 25% black. Black and black breed true, splash and splash breed true. Black and blue make 50/50, blue and splash make 50/50. Now if you had self-blue, that would be another story

yea. Split means its visually one colour but also carrying another. lavender for example is only expressed visually when there are 2 genes present, so crossed with other colours you get splits that only carry one lav gene.
