Let me introduce myself

[Chicken Whisperer]

I have taken care of chickens but never raised them from chicks. I have 2 Ameraucanas who are now 2 1/2 weeks old. I got them on day #2 after hatching. They are really for my 7 and 8 year olds for 4H. However, I am infatuated! Last night, they even perched on my shoulder as my little supervisors while we cooked dinner! My children and my husband are definitely loving them also. So, we have 2 more precious pets to add to our "Noah's Ark of animals" as my husband likes to say. Lol

Thank you! I submitted my request to be added to my county and state list. These chicks are addictive. I may be considering 2 more in a couple months. Lol

2 parakeets
1 dog
2 chicks
Prior to May this year, we had 2 cats and 2 parakeets. We grew exponentially somehow. Lol
