Needed to give the brooder a good cleaning so took the girls out and put them in the lil pen we have set up in the grass. They had a blast chasing the bugs and picking at the grass/weeds.

They grow up so fast lol.

How old are your chicks? Mine are only about 10 days. Is that too young to take them out for a little while?

If the weather is good, not too cold, no strong winds, and sunny you could take them out for a bit. Just watch them and if they start chirping they might b too cold. I started taking my outside when they were 2 weeks old for a little bit. Just watch out for predators! Good luck and have fun with the fuzzy butts! U should post pics to when u do this!

I know I need pics but my camera is missing lol and the one on my phone is awefull.

I've had mine for 2 weeks and not sure really how old they are. All have wing feathers and tail feathers coming in so my guess is 6 week or close to it.
