One of our wyandottes suddenly separated herself from the rest of the flock, she stood by the water all evening yesterday and didn't move. When I went to pick her up she didn't startle or anything. She did go into the coop last night, but didnt roost. She slowly walked to a nesting box and bedded down. This morning, she came out and resumed her stance beside the water.
I have since separated her, treated with Corid water and just watching to see what happens. When I picked her up a bit ago, I was feeling her crop and clear liquid like water poured out of her mouth, a lot of it. I don't see any lice or mice, or anything wrong on her body.
I've read all sorts of issues from crop to fatal things. Her crop is soft and empty. Any advice would be appreciated.
