She has now died along with another one that I did not expect toDroppings can change that color from lack of eating. I would remove her from the flock annd provide a cooler atea and see what she does then. The dropping color happens when they stop eating. Try to separate her and offer her different types of food in a safe place. I’ve had a chicken that has stoppped eating and started eating as soon as she had access to a different type of feeder. Electolytes is a big one for me. Helps with a ton. I use save-a-chick stuff but you can also find homade recipes online. It migbt also be a part reaction to molting, if she is doing that.
Try to determine what they have. I’ve had a disease take two birds and then leave the rest alone, so hopefully those two just had a weaker immune system. Look at their nostrils and check to see if they are inflamed-respiratory disease might be a cause. If any other birds start showing symptoms, separate from flock and care for them. Sorry- chickens can die for one reason, another reason, or no reason at all. This chicken and one other have died now.. scared for the rest of my flock. Please. Any advice
Poop pictures would help but treating them with corid won’t hurt.I'm sorry I didn't catch this sooner, but isn't that one in the picture a classic coccidiosis stance?
Started corid today. No blood in droppings but definitely don’t look goodPoop pictures would help but treating them with corid won’t hurt.
Two more now looking sick and arched over like this. Nostrils aren’t inflamed. I don’t know how to figure out what they have. I’ve been a mess all dayTry to determine what they have.
