He’s about the same as yesterday, a little more active. I’m continuing with eggs and berries and NutriDrench. I’m still waiting to hear back about the Newcastle test, but I don’t think he has it. He’s not showing any symptoms of it. Plus he’s the only one not well...

Thanks for checking in. And thank you everyone for all the advice. I think he is recovering well. Will keep you posted.

Update on Mr Rooster: today he is crowing a lot more and louder. And he’s fighting me in giving him drops by beak. It still doesn’t seem like he’s drinking on his own very much, or eating other than the scrambled eggs.

Does anyone know what kind of roo he is? I’m trying to figure out how much he should weigh. Here’s a pic of him standing pretty.

Try some watery chicken feed (just mix a little) and hide his PND in there. Add a little egg on top. If he takes the watery feed, mix a small bowl twice a day. That will get water into him. He looks like a splash of some sort, but I am not good with breeds.

EE... he is pretty! make sure he isn't getting fought away from food or water, and he should do great!
