Hi, all!
I’m new to raising chicks and got 3 Easter Eggers last week. They’re doing great! I went back to the feed store last night for more food, only to come home with this tiny babe.
As you can see, she’s not doing well
I’ve given her egg yolk (via q-tip) and electrolytes in her water, dipped her beak in her water several times. She has spurts of movement, otherwise she’s just laying there limp.
She was hatched 3/9 and is so so tiny. She was in the specialty bantam bin, and that’s all I know about her! My question is, is this just failure to thrive? Has anyone had a chick bounce back from this? My heart breaks for her.
I know there are probably other threads about this, I just want to talk to an actual human! Thank you all for your help
