Lethargic Baby Chick

Hi, all!

I’m new to raising chicks and got 3 Easter Eggers last week. They’re doing great! I went back to the feed store last night for more food, only to come home with this tiny babe.

As you can see, she’s not doing well 😭 I’ve given her egg yolk (via q-tip) and electrolytes in her water, dipped her beak in her water several times. She has spurts of movement, otherwise she’s just laying there limp.

She was hatched 3/9 and is so so tiny. She was in the specialty bantam bin, and that’s all I know about her! My question is, is this just failure to thrive? Has anyone had a chick bounce back from this? My heart breaks for her.

I know there are probably other threads about this, I just want to talk to an actual human! Thank you all for your help

Did she survive? I'm dealing with this right now!!
She survived two more days and then I found her forever asleep in her brooder 😭😭😭 I did everything I possibly could and she still didn’t make it! Sometimes that’s just how it goes. I have fingers crossed for your chick! Feed your baby egg yolks through a syringe, that’s what made mine hold on so long. And if yours is alone right now, get it a friend! That was my fatal mistake. She needed another healthy chick to look up to. I’m learning as I go! Best of luck to you!!

Just picked up some chicks yesterday, got one doing the same, so far looking very gloom. The store gave me another free, but told me to take it with me, so Im trying to save it but nothing seems to help and looks like life is slipping away by the minute sadly... just odd they were all active all day yesterday and all night, just this 1 didnt pull through the night.
