Lethargic chick, not eating

She is somewhat smaller than the others. I am out at work right now, but i will try the mash when i get back. Also just recieved an update from my mother at home, who says that she was out from under the heat lamp and seemed to be eating on her own. Thank you so much for your help!

That is to be expected. She likely hasn't been eating enough the entire time leaving her weak and unable to put her energy into growing. Her perking up is great and so is her moving out from under the heat lamp and eating on her own. Hopefully this progress continues. Of course! Always happy to help!

Unfortunately she is no longer improving and still won’t eat on her own. She also cannot keep herself warm even under the heat lamp. Hand feeding is keeping her alive for now but I suspect there is just something wrong internally and I don’t think she’ll make it. Thank you so much for your help anyway, though.

Sorry to hear that. Sometimes failure to thrive happens. You did your best though. Of course, always happy to help although sorry it didn't end up working out in this case.
