4 week old chick suddenly lethargic(Slightly fluffed up, watery poop, sleeping) 1 already dead. Separated from the others. I do believe they were dehydrated, I have 1 big growout coop separated into 2 sections. One for the chicks that still need heat and the ones off. Looks like they found a spot they could get under into the other side and the older ones bullied them into one of the nestboxes. That's where I found them all anyways. No injuries on any of them, that I can see anyways.
My question is if it *is* dehydration or something else. Stress, maybe? Once I got them back in (and stapled back in the fence they got out from) they went straight for the water. Had to refill it. This chick started perking up a bit after drinking. Wasn't falling over anymore, no longer has droopy wings, etc. She's still slightly lethargic, though. Will it take a bit for her to perk up, if it was dehydration?
