I’m freaking out! My 2 day old Coturnix chick is being really lethargic, when he was moved to the brooder he could barely walk. His brother is freaking out. I don’t now what to do, Ive given him vitamin and put some gamebird crumble in his mouth. I don’t know what to do! Help!

I don't know anything about quail, but when I've had lethargic chicks, I've tried to help them by syringe feeding raw egg yolk and electrolytes. If they'll willingly eat, I've tried mash made with their crumble or lightly scrambled eggs.

I want to say that I'm very new to raising chicks. But I have had to deal with 2 lethargic and weak chicks. Sadly, I lost both.

IF you lose this chick, please do not feel guilty or like you did something wrong. Sometimes these things happen. It's sad, but not your fault!

Maybe someone can step in with more experience and offer more help.
