I agree on not inhaling this product. My thought process was the same when it came to ingesting it in food. I did mix DE into the shaving in my barn. When it's mixed with shavings, it cuts down on the dusting. Since I've started using it, I've noticed a drastic decrease in flies. It's raining today so hopefully, it should wash the DE into the dirt where I put DE down in the run. It put a heavy dosage on the ground because I figured it would work its way into the dirt which would reduce the amount of dusting into the air ad well.
