My chicken is acting very lethargic and unsteady. She was fine yesterday but I found her this morning sitting on the ground in the coop. She wasn’t isolating herself from the others but she seems to be breathing very heavily and overall is not acting normal. She is usually very active and doesn’t like to be held but now she is just sitting in place. Her crop seems to be fine, so does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? I posted a video to show what she is like.
P.S. she is around five years old.

Your location and current weather would be helpful to know. If it went suddenly from mild to hot, that can be a big problem.
Live in North Carolina. Weather isn’t especially different today. It’s been 70s-80s for the past few weeks.

How is her crop? Feel it. Is it enlarged and lumpy or perhaps feels like a water balloon? Feel her abdomen between her legs. Is there noticeable swelling or any hard lump?

Crop is normal, she’s eating the stuff I give her. Called the vet and I think she’s egg bound. Been feeding her oyster shells and giving her baths so hopefully it clears up soon.

Oyster shell takes forever to be absorbed you need to give her this.

It absorbs very quickly to stimulate contractions.
