Lethargic chicken, won't eat, diarrhea

how is your chicken doing? ponazuril and troltrazuril are both treatments for coccidia that kills the parasite. if you can not get coccidia meds then i’d use the corrid as it is better then nothing.

I doubt it's coccidia, especially if all the other chickens are fine. I think a reproductive disorder is most likely here. Antibiotics (plus the calcium tablets) are what I would give, but these kind of problems are often recurring.

Hi, thanks for checking in! I took her to a vet today. Nothing showed on the fecal, no egg or pieces of egg found, no fever, but she has declined and was weak, pale, and clearly anemic. She only weighed 3.8 lbs. The doctor put her on Panacur in case of parasites (even though no obvious signs), an antibiotic in case of a secondary infection somewhere, and Corrid in case of coccidia that didn't show up. Kind of a hail Mary to see if anything works. If she makes it 3 more days but isn't any better, I'm going to let her go. She's too sweet to let her suffer. Fingers and toes crossed that something makes her feel better and she'll start eating.
