Lethargic chicken

Hi! One of our 3 month old chickens is acting strangely. She hasn't been showing the same interest in food, nor does she seem as social. Any ideas??

Welcome to BYC. Does she have any signs of coccidiosis, such as lethargy, weakness, diarrhea or blood in poops, not eating, and standing hunched or puffed up? Corid or amprollium is the best treatment, in the water for 5 days. It is avalivle at feed atores in powder or liquid. Dosage is 1 1/2 tsp of the powder or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water.

Thanks for quick response. She's just not acting like the others - not foraging much, not wanting treats. Walking around but not moving at the same pace. Seems bright eyed. They are on medicated feed but we do have the stuff for coccidiosis. I think we have to stop the medicated feed before using the medication in water, right??
