My cousin just called me about his chicken that won at our local county fair saying that she is not moving as much as normal and she is kweping to herself. He said she does not appear to be hot, no drooling, planting, or the like. He said He tried to get her to move but she wouldn't. She is not broody either and I don't know what to tell him, sorry that I have no photos or videos but any info is greatly appreciated.

When was the last time she laid an egg? And how is her crop? It should be empty and flat every morning and slowly fill throughout the day as she eats.

Has she been checked for lice/mites? What is her stance like? Is she puffed up or hunched over?

Also how old is she and what breed? What kind of feed is she on?

If your friend could send pics it’d be very helpful.
