I have a silver laced Hamburg that sat in the nesting box all afternoon. Thought she was broody but today she has been standing under her nipple water bucket all day. Not eating. Her chest looks somewhat bare of feathers with some mild crusty. Yesterday I noticed that her chest feathers were wet when she was sitting in her box. Soaked her in warm Epsom salt water bath and she stayed there for 10 minutes by herself. Checked for egg bound and don't feel any egg. She hasn't laid in 2-3 days. Never a prolific layer. Her comb is not red but blackish color and has been for a month, possibly more. Prior to this, no problems with her. Any ideas?
