Lethargic duck, not eating

No real swimming, no running, not much noise. Normally she is very chatty. I still haven't seen her eating, though I left food and water with the birds over night. She struggled a bit when picked up, but not as much as normal.

My guess is egg yolk peritonitis or similar infection.

That can, if caught early enough and with proper treatment, be taken care of. But it's serious.

Thanks everybody for your help and advice. She seems to be doing alright now. Her behaviour is back to normal, eating, running, quacking, etc. I still don't know what was wrong, but I suspect my drake. He is inexperienced and over zealous, and I've seen him pinning her down more than once. He could have hurt her easily; they are the same breed (runner) but he's significantly larger than she. Thank you so much for helping me! We've had a bad summer for animals and birds here.
