My duck is acting very low-energy, she isn't eating any of her regular food, and barely nibbles on her favorite treats. She's standing around with her feathers ruffled and looks just plain sad. She is still drinking plenty of water.

One of our ducks died this last weekend, and was displaying these same symptoms before she passed. I looked around on the forums here and decided to try an epsom salt flush, but for the previous duck it was too late and she died the next day.

My two main concerns are 1) is an epsom salt flush harmful to a well bird? And 2) does the flush seem the right way to go, or is there something else you would recommend?

This is her:

I would contact a vet. A good flush is molasses but that is for botulism. I don't think your has that. I would see or talk to a vet or see if you can get a autopsy on the one that passed.
