I have four guineas and one of my guinea hens has started to separate herself from the rest which is very unusual. She goes off on her own and lays down and sleeps a lot. If she had been doing this before I wouldn't be concerned but they normally stick very close together. She appears to be eating and drinking fairly well and looks good overall. I have not had guineas before so I wasn't sure if this was normal or if maybe she was sick or getting ready to lay. Any advice or suggestions on what might be going on would be great!!

She may be getting broody or ready to lay an egg. She also may simply be not feeling her best and needs a little rest.

Thank you for your reply! I'm hoping she's just getting ready to lay. I'd hate for her to be sick,; the guineas are definitely wild compared to our chickens so it wouldn't be easy to get ahold of her to treat her if she ended up sick.
