Sorry for your loss. I have learned a lot about illnesses when I have done home necropsies, to examine the abdominal organs. Water belly, egg yolk peritonitis, salpingitis, cancer and other things have been seen. Your state vet may do a more thorough necropsy with testing, if you lose another.
