Lethargic hen

Well the valzaben seemed to work for a couple of days but I found her dead in the coop today

Look your chickens over for mites and lice, even though you have dusted them occasionally and used DE. If you can save her body and refigerate it, then on Monday contact your state vet for a necropsy. That is the only real way to diagnose her illness. At home, some of us do our own limited necropsies, to look at the abdominal organs, check for crop or gizzard blockage, look at intestines, liver, and sometimes we take pictures to ask for opinions. Reproductive problems including egg yolk peritonitis, internal laying, ascites, and intestinal infection can be common in our chickens. Sorry for your loss.
