I have 2 11 week old silkies. One has become very lethargic the past few days. She was just mostly standing place. She was eating, drinking, pooping normally but outside of that she just stood still all the time. Today she has taken to laying down all the time. She is making a quiet cooing kind of sound constantly and won't get up. The other one keeps putting it's head underneath her making her get up and move a little. Does anyone know what's going on and what I can do to help?
I hatched these chicks so they are not new to my property. I have tried giving her mash with egg yolk, goat paste, nutridrench. But she won't take amy of the offerings.
No obvious injuries, no lice, no mites.
Closest poultry vet is 150 miles. I can take it Tuesday but It's Saturday and I'm afraid it won't make it through the wait!
