I'm re-posting this here because I haven't gotten a single answer. I bought some SuperBooster and have been dropper feeding her all day. Her crop is empty and I'm getting some SickChick, tomorrow if the store is open; Monday for sure.

I have two Turkey chicks, one is quite a bit older and larger than the younger one. All was fine, even after we transferred them into the chicken coup with the chicks and still fine until we took the heat lamp out. Naturally, at first, I figured she was cold but the weather has been so warm that I've had to open the windows in the coup as it gets too warm for them. I've seen her eat, but not as vigorously as she normally does. I give them treats like mashed boiled egg, yogurt, lettuce and a little bread. They always get a mash of their food and yogurt. I mix a teaspoon of molasses and apple cider vinegar in a gallon of water. I've done that since my chicks were hatched. The turkey chicks we got when they were at least 2 months old for the large one and a month old for the younger.

She is acting lethargic, always wants to be held so she can sleep... I know she's eating because her crop has been full and the only time they get shells is when I give them something to eat where they need them. She's not cold or sick that I can see but she's also not herself.

I have a hutch with adult turkeys and a chicken coup with just over a month old chickens that she and the other chick have been raised with. She holds her own with them when she's active. I have the two chicks in the house every now and again. I have another brooder full of baby chicks in the house again so I put her in with them - they are healthy and so is she, she's just lethargic and always wanting to be held and sleep. I put her in a clear, plastic tote with shavings, treated water with SuperBooster and a little feed so she can see and hear the baby chicks. She is alert when I pick her up and when I can keep her awake. I have to open her beak and dropper feed the water. She isn't eating on her own.

I have turkey feed for them but they insist on eating the chick feed for their age group and its pretty hard to have two different types of feed in the coup.

Does anyone have some advice for this little chick? I'd sure appreciate it. I don't want to lose her.

Stephanie
