Arg, my girl was fine yesterday, this morning she’s moving very slowly and hasn’t eaten yet.

She’s drinking water, but is having a hard time keeping up with the others.

on hand, I have: Rooster Booster, VetRx.

since it’s Easter Sunday I don’t think I can get to a vet.

not sure TSC will be open today.

any suggestions?

i might also add that in general, all my girls are laying WAY less now than in winter, although they get plenty of oyster shell every day.

thank you!

She may need to lay and egg too. If she isn't showing other symptoms. Might want to think of placing her close to her coop but where everyone can see each other. That way she can rest. Putting some rooster booster into her drinking water can't hurt. Do you have calcium gluconate on hand? Is she walking like she may need to lay?

That’s possible that she may need to lay. i don’t have calcium gluconate, but if TSC is open, I’ll get some. How do you administer that?

i also wonder if I’m letting my ducks out too early. 7:30 usually.

I have been letting mine out between 7:30 and 7:45 to make sure they lay in their coop after finding 2 eggs in my daylilly patch. The closest TSC to us is closed today might not be that way all over the country. But any one who has layers needs to have cal glu on hand it really helps to get a stuck egg moving. @DuckyDonna
