Pigs and cows are too nice to butcher. If I raised all of our meat I would end up with tons of pets and only eat the a-holes, lol! We don't eat much meat so I could probably make it work, lol.

Ok- do you have cows or pigs??? Cuz I do and cows have too many flies and pigs are too dirty. Unless you are one of those people that keep your pig in your house, give them baths regularly and take them on walks!

I was thinking the same thing! Pigs stink, cows can be annoying and wayyy too many flies.

I have no problem butchering pigs, cows, chickens, guineas, turkeys, etc.

No, I don't have cows and pigs but I have loved on them. Lol, they were dirty and SO sweet!!!

At first, I read this and thought you said HOGS! Chickens, dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, should never be scalded in my opinion!

I scald chickens and any other poultry. I skin bunnies. If need be, I would not have a problem skinning cats, dogs or horses.

If someone else did it for me I would probably be ok? I cried when I killed a snake that was trying to each my chicks...I'm just a softy. I do what's necessary but I don't like it.
