That would not be a wise thing to do. I do not want a rice cooker. I am perfectly happy with how my rice comes out using the cooking method that I use.

I am very, very poor about accepting gifts. So poor that I do not accept gifts.

He has used it once and lost the manual. It hasn't been used in about a year even though I found the manual online.
I love rice, but I dont see the need for an appliance that does only one thing unless you use it a LOT. *cough* *unitasker*

I can't imagine living without a rice cooker. I have a Zojirushi that I bought 10 years ago and is still the best rice cooker ever.

I don't recall claiming to be any fun. My brother made out like a bandit when he would get all the Christmas presents that I refused.

I am sure that I do not have rice anywhere near as often as you do. When I do need cooked rice, my method produces perfectly acceptable rice for me.

When I make Spanish rice, it starts with uncooked rice and becomes cooked rice as part of the process. A rice cooker would have no value in the preparation of Spanish rice.

Yep. I grew up eating rice as my staple carb instead of bread, pasta, or potatoes. I eat those things, but rice is my staple.

I would like to eat more rice, but I never even had rice until I was a teenager and it was in meatballs. Blech! Warn a person will ya? But I dont know how you ccan be prepared for something like that. For a visual, rice is not what came to mind when I bit into it.
