Let the record show that I grew up with Grandparents who butchered their own meat. I was skinning hogs in elementary. I may be getting soft in my old age though.

Chickens only get to come in the house for three reasons here:
1. Dinner
2. If they're sick (and dearly loved)
3. If they're in the incubator and are hatching

I chase them out. Every time.
This is not acceptable behavior, but having them so tame outside brings this sort of behavior out I fear.
