I love these!! I especially love the idea of recycling the toddler bed for a ladder

what a good idea, it's perfect!!! Here's my coop(s), original small one for my 4 hens (that lasted a year, haha!) and the newly completed expansion, now I have a true brooder, yay! both are enclosed within a 16x16 picket fenced yard, with a 16x8 addition when the garden isn't in use...keeps the ladies pretty happy!

YA, it actually worked, hehe!! Oh and fyi, original little coop was painted to match our house, the DH's idea, soo cute! We have an offer in on a real 'farm' so we're waiting to paint the addition until we find out if we get the house, with a cute little red with white dutch barn

Ours was started this spring, so happy with the results and the eggs.....
It needs some insulation before winter, here in Western Pa.
